Welcome to the interactive Eberron Map. I built this map for my group to be able to have a full world map and measure distance for travel. This map is a derivative fan wrok, usin the official map images from WOTC (lee moyer), and positioned based off of an old full world map found here. I stitched in higher resolution images so the map tiling would allow for farther zooming in. The map coding uses the leaflet.js libraries with some minor modifications. The distances and placements are not guaranteed to be accurate according to any particular version of Eberron.

I do not own any copyright in this map except for the code, and if asked to remove it I will promptly comply. I would also gladly build a higher res, more complex version of this like the Midgard Map I created for Kobold Press (https://midgardmap.koboldpress.com) if approached to do so.

Basic Controls

Click and drag the map to move it around. The mouse wheel or zoom buttons to the right will zoom the map in and out to various zoom factors. The navigation tool does not accomodate for curvature of the planet.

Navigation Tool

To use the navigation tool:

• Click on the Compass Icon in the right hand tools section.
• You are now in "Navigation" mode. When you click a location, it will mark it as your start point.
• Move your mouse to draw a line with a tooltip that shows bearing and distance.
• Click again to set a point in the journey.
• When you are done, double click to close the path, or press the ESC key.
• Press ESC again or click on the compass icon to turn off the navigation tool.

Travel Speed

• Eberron Vehicles and Speeds (3.5/PF)
• Airship Speed: Based on listed speeds an airship can travel about 11 miles an hour. This resource (for 3.5/PF) listed it as 20mph. That's the scale I use in my games. So, 20mph at 10 hours (assuming one shift of work to pilot) is 200 miles per day, but going the full 24 hours is 480 miles per day.
• Sharn Size: On the sharn map, I used the estimates Liane the Wayfarer came up with on this forum post. It gives Sharn a rough size of 6 miles across, with a rough estimate of "16.5 square miles of occupiable city in the lower wards. Multiply that by 3 for all three city levels, you come up with a little over 49 sq mi, which is somewhat smaller than Brooklyn for the entire city. "
